Fundraisers

Annual Fundraisers
Akiva Academy has one or two major fundraising events each year. These events are all organized and managed through parent volunteers. All parents are expected to dedicate some volunteer hours to fundraising projects within the school. The money raised each year totals tens of thousands of dollars. In addition to purchasing tickets for the events, many supporters of Akiva also contribute generously as patrons. Categories of donations range from $180 to over $1,000.

For our fundraiser this year, Akiva Academy is having a concert featuring Alex Stein on Thursday, May 24, at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue, 1325 Glenmore Trail SW. Tickets start at $180 per couple. Casinos
Akiva Academy is granted a Casino once every two years. To date, the money raised has been a minimum of $80,000 per event. Each family registered at Akiva Academy is expected to work a shift at this highly effective fundariser.
