School Life
Kashrut Policy
In order to be sensitive to all of our families, food brought from home for individual consumption is subject to the following guidelines:
It may not be given or shared with any other student
No meat products of any kind may be brought to the school
It may contain only kosher fish and kosher seafood products
All food brought into the school for school use (e.g., school functions, meetings, and fundraisers; birthday celebrations) must be kosher and have an approved kosher symbol. For a list of approved symbols, please see the document below. Items prepared at home cannot be distributed at school. If you have any questions pertaining to the school's Kashrut Policy, please contact the Director of Judaic Studies, Rabbi Chaim Greenwald.
