Akiva Academy was established in 1980 as an Orthodox Jewish Day School providing an integrated traditional Jewish and secular education. Akiva Academy is affiliated with the Congregation House of Jacob Mikveh Israel (HOJMI), and is a member agency of the Calgary Jewish Federation and the Torah Umesorah Day Schools Organization.
